The sudden onset of songs stopping at 49 or 59 seconds is likely due to a server-side change by YouTube, such as stricter ad delivery, new adblock detection, or changes in how non-premium streams are handled. The app itself does not contain logic to stop playback at these times, and the problem is not specific to any operating system—it affects both Linux and Windows users. Users with YouTube Music Premium do not experience this issue. There are currently no confirmed fixes, as the root cause is outside the app's control.
