No, you cannot edit the date of a synced transaction. The date field is intentionally disabled in the UI for any transaction that has an external_id (i.e., came from a sync provider like LunchFlow). This is by design — dates and amounts are considered core "no-go" fields for synced transactions, because changing them could break balance calculations, affect net worth history, and compromise the audit trail of actual bank records.

What you can edit on synced transactions:

  • Name/Description, Notes, Category, Merchant, Tags

What you cannot edit:

  • Date and Amount

If you're seeing an incorrect date from a sync provider, the only current workaround is to delete the synced transaction and manually re-create it with the correct date — though you'd lose the sync link for that transaction.
