Funds and Grants#
Funds#
A Fund is an account type built for disbursing money rather than receiving it. A Fund can contribute to Collectives and is also designed to hold and display its own balance, show a full transaction history, and pay money out through Grants and Expenses.
If you're more focused on giving money away than raising it, a Fund is likely the right fit.
Grants#
A Grant is a type of disbursement, similar to an expense but where an expense is typically submitted by the person or project being paid, a Grant is issued by a Fund or Collective to an eligible recipient.
