Yes. Dosu works with both public and private repositories. Public repositories are available on all plans, including the free plan. Private repositories require a paid plan (Pro, Business, or Enterprise).

When you install the Dosu GitHub App, you choose which repositories to grant access to, including private ones. You can select specific repositories or grant access to all repositories in your account or organization.

To create a data source or deployment for a private repository, you must be the user who installed the GitHub App or a collaborator with Triage permission or higher. Collaborators with Read permission cannot connect to private repositories.

Once a private repository is connected, all members of your Dosu organization can access its indexed content. For more details on access control, see RBAC.
