Font Management on Bluefin#
Bluefin installs fonts via Homebrew cask, not via system package layering (rpm-ostree). This keeps the base OS image untouched — fonts land in ~/.local/share/fonts as a user-space operation.
Package layering is locked by default via LockLayering=true in /etc/rpm-ostreed.conf , so reaching for rpm-ostree install to add a font is an anti-pattern — it complicates updates and couples the system to a package. Use Homebrew instead.
